As a painter, you prepare, mix and spray our components to achieve a perfectly finished end result. With your precision and craftsmanship, you consistently deliver work that meets the highest quality standards..
Your responsibilities include:
- Painting constructions or machine parts in the correct colour code using the appropriate paint systems.
- Degreasing and cleaning the parts to be painted.
- Masking finished surfaces with tape as indicated on the plan.
- Positioning parts correctly to ensure optimal accessibility during painting.
- Mixing paint, thinners and hardeners according to supplier guidelines.
- Spraying primer and/or topcoats on various materials and shapes, meeting required cleanliness and layer thickness standards.
- Spraying in different directions and positions while maintaining proper dosing and surface distribution.
- Regularly measuring layer thicknesses.
- Removing painted parts and placing them in drying racks or the oven.
- Working with 2‑component paint systems following supplier instructions.
- Adjusting viscosity and thinning the paint when necessary.
- Cleaning and maintaining spraying equipment and the workspace daily.
- Cleaning the spray booth weekly.
- Respecting and applying all safety regulations, including those related to chemical products.
- Correctly using the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Handling various chemical products such as degreasers, thinners, paints and hardeners.
- Working in line with quality procedures.
- Maintaining order and cleanliness at and around the workstation.
- Assisting with maintenance and repair tasks carried out by internal or external technicians.
- Replacing filter cloths during periodic weekly maintenance.
- Following and updating the maintenance schedule.
- Technically trained painter or equivalent through experience
- Able to read technical drawings (especially regarding colour codes)
- Good understanding of various chemical products such as degreasers, thinners, paints and hardeners
- Able to read and interpret production order sheets
- Able to work with mixing ratios
- Capable of working independently
- Willing and able to work both at ground level and at height (ladder work)
