We are looking for a mechanical engineer who develops creative solutions to various mechanical challenges that arise in our designs, in collaboration with the senior mechanical engineer. You consult with various departments, including electrical engineering, automation engineering, production and planning to achieve an integrated and efficient design. You will provide assembly drawings, detail drawings and production drawings for the production planning department, taking into account customer requirements, general mechanical engineering standards and company standards.
As a mechanical engineer, you and the team strive for continuous improvement of project solutions, both technically and financially. You process feedback that stems from the production process and you follow up the realisation of assigned projects in the workshop with the aim of detecting improvements. You also make proposals to continuously improve standardisation.
- Bachelor’s degree (electromechanics, design and production technology, industrial design, machine and product automation…) with five years of relevant professional experience or master’s degree in electromechanics (career opportunities within the company)
- Solid technical knowledge, and subsequently good judgment of mechanics and machine construction

- Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor is an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Dutch is desirable, but no absolute requirement
- Fluent in English, knowledge of French or German is an asset
