Every day you learn something new, which keeps the job interesting.

On board since April 2019

How do you feel about travelling often?

Personally, I really like it, occasional changes of customers and location. That way you come into contact with a different work atmosphere with different people, which makes the work very varied. Over time, you will have established a bond with the customer, which makes it fun to go there, because after a while, you know the ins and outs.

Do you still have time for hobbies?

There is definitely still time for hobbies. However, you have to be flexible with the schedule, certainly on-site. But there is time after work to go running, swimming, cycling, hiking... Some days you might find the time to do so easier than others (due to deadlines and suchlike). Hobbies you practice during the week as part of a team, are of course a bit more difficult when you are abroad, but there is a solution to every problem. I sometimes go for a run when I am on-site and in doing so, I like that I can explore a different environment each time.

How do you experience the atmosphere at BEP Europe?

I have been working at BEP Europe for over four years now and I really enjoy working here: nice colleagues, nice working atmosphere, a new building... There is lots of variation in the job, because we must keep up-to-date with PC, PLC, mechanics, electrics and robots. Moreover, there is always someone who can help if you have a question. Every day, you learn something new, which keeps the work interesting.

There is not one fixed way to handle things. There is a lot of room for personal input.

The best thing about my job is when I can see the results of my designs in real life after they have been finished by the engineering department.
